Gina Johnson Higgins DMD

General & Preventive Services

We recommend that you come to the dentist every six months for an oral health visit.  These visits include a cleaning, an examination, state of the art digital xrays (as needed), head, neck and oral cancer screening, gum disease screening, blood pressure check, and close-up photos of your teeth. These regular visits give us the opportunity to identify developing problems, such as tooth decay and gum disease. We can also offer fluoride treatments and sealants, both of which will help fight against tooth decay.  Other general dentistry treatments include: cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment, root canal fillings, periodontal treatment and more.

Once a year, we will take a complete set of xrays using our state-of-the art digital technology. This will enable us to make sure there are no issues that cannot be spotted with the naked eye.

Cosmetic Services

There is nothing like a beautiful smile to make a good first impression!  An attractive smile is a confidence booster, and it can even make those around you feel happier, as well. Our cosmetic dentistry services include:

Teeth whitening has become an essential part of personal maintenance.  We have found that white teeth significantly improves self-esteem. Dr. Higgins offers three different types of whitening.  Whether you choose in-office or at-home whitening, we have a brilliant solution for you.

Dr. Higgins is able to provide orthodontic treatment through Invisalign.  Invisalign is a series of clear aligners that move your teeth into a perfectly straight smile.  No brackets or wires required!

Porcelain Veneers are wafer-thin sheets of porcelain that are placed on the natural surface of your tooth to improve the appearance of chips, dullness, rotation or gaps!

Dental crowns are best for teeth with extensive damage or decay that a traditional filling cannot restore successfully.  Dr. Higgins and her team will work with you to select a shade for the porcelain crown that will blend flawlessly with your other teeth.  The crown covers your existing tooth and will help protect it from further damage, decay or infection.

Dental implants are permanent tooth replacements and may be a more appealing option than dentures or bridges.  After your implant has been placed, Dr. Higgins will restore it with a beautiful porcelain crown.  These crowns are color matched to blend with your existing teeth for a stunning result.

Dentures are removable oral appliances used to restore your smile if you are missing some or all of your natural teeth.  Dr. Higgins and her team will work with you to determine if a full or partial denture is right for you.  Your denture or partial will be custom made and we will work with you to ensure a comfortable and secure fit that will enhance the overall beauty of your smile.

Sedation Services

It is very common for patients to have dental anxiety and fear. We understand what makes patients anxious and scared, and take every measure to make your dental visit comforting and enjoyable. In our office, we are able to comfortably sedate our patients using safe and highly effective sedation dentistry (sleep dentistry) techniques to minimize fear and anxiety.

Our goal using sedation dentistry is to eliminate many of the fears associated with going to the dentist.
